Facing the Lair of adversities in being an Exemplary employee



Being an Associate Editor is a tedious task in itself, but for Sir Heinrick G. Rabara, such is a challenging yet rewarding job; for he is a law student as well. He is currently employed in REX Book Store Inc. as an Associate Editor for Law Education. He graduated Cum laude at Araullo University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Currently, he is taking Law at Adamson University. His job is a road of hardships and adversities but still manages to perform well at work and at school as well.

Contrary to popular belief, being an Associate Editor is not just about copyediting the author’s work; one should also possess ideal communication skills which are necessary addressing the author about his or her specific styles and in communicating with other departments of the company. One should also withhold a decorous reasoning skills especially when asked, and of course the willingness to the given task.

Time is a huge factor to Sir Heinrick’s day. Working at day and studying at night is not a walk in the park for an ordinary person. But he makes sure that his adhesions will harmonize his overall performance. Though, he considers being assigned in Law Education as an advantage since he deals with law books and therefore he works and studies it as well. “Love what you are doing, Di ka mapapagod kapag gusto mo yung ginagawa mo,” he stated with a big smile.

We get to look at a day in the job of such an assiduous academic achiever and an excellent professional in his job; “Walang trabahong madali,” the Pangasinan native emphasized. A generation filled with challenges and afflictions, Sir Heinrick is a living  example of those relentlessly keeps on fighting hardships. Being an Associate Editor and a Law student as well is both a honor and responsibility. Although, his situation poses a lot of trials, but fighting with a big heart and a strong desire helps in overcoming such obstacles.
